Youth and Family Meet & Greet with Astronaut Col. Michael E. Fossum

Join NASA Astronaut and Distinguished Eagle Scout, Col. Michael E. Fossum for a special meet-and-greet just for Scouts and their families.

Fossum is a veteran of three space flights with more than 194 days in space and more than 48 hours in seven spacewalks during his 19 years as an astronaut. During his last mission in 2011, Fossum served as the Commander of the International Space Station. He has logged over 2,000 hours in 35 different aircraft throughout the course of his career.  Hear comments about Mike’s experience living on the International Space Station for 167 days and how Scouting kept him on a trajectory of success on and off the planet.

This FREE event for Scouts and their families is an OPEN HOUSE from 5:00 to 7:00p. With Comments from Col. Fossum beginning at 5:30p.

Col. Fossum will be in town for the Miami Valley Council’s 2022 Leadership Breakfast Fundraising Event on Thursday, April 7.
