Popcorn is a truly unique fundraiser. This goal-oriented program helps youth develop many life skills while supporting their own way through the Scouting program. Whether you’re new to the sale, or a caramel-seasoned pro, we look forward to supporting your sale as you Build an Adventure!

TRAILS END ‘HOW TO’ TUTORIALS

Trails End has added several tutorial videos on their YouTube channel.  Videos like how to reserve and manage storefront sales, how to apply cash to credit in the Scout App and much more.

2024 Popcorn Sale Timeline

July 24: Popcorn Kick-Off Meeting
August 12: Show and Sell Orders Due in TE portal
August 16: Patch Contest Design Submissions Due
August 29 & 30: Show and Sell Distribution (Warehouse Location TBA)
September 9: Tentative Mid-Sale/Replenishment Orders Due in TE portal
September 20: “Amnesty Day” Returns Due”
September 26 & 27: Tentative Mid-Sale/Replenishment Distribution
October 14: Take Orders Due in TE portal
October 31 & November 1: Take Order Distribution (Warehouse Location TBA)
December 6: All Payments Due
January TBA: Top Seller Scout Party

PATCH DESIGN CONTEST

The 2024 Popcorn Sale Patch will be designed by a Scout!  Please submit your design to Amanda Schaedig by midnight on August 16.  Youth emailing MUST cc a parent or leader.

Patch Design Contest Requirements:

  • Can be any shape (no larger than 3×3 inches)
  • Must contain words “Miami Valley Council” and “2024 Popcorn Sale”
  • Must contain a Fleur De Lis
  • Theme should be related to Scouting Adventures.  Think your favorite scouting activity!

2024 UNIT INCENTIVES

  • Units that order $10k or more on their Show and Sell, we will coordinate with your Unit Kernel to deliver the popcorn to you!
  • At the end of the sale, units that average $500 sales per scout, will receive 2 FREE nights in ONE Zone 3 (adirondack/cabinettes) site at Cricket Holler.  Scout number based on August 1 registration.
  • At the end of the sale, units that average $750 sales per scout, will receive 2 FREE nights in ONE Leadership Cabin at Cricket Holler.  Scout number based on August 1 registration.

2024 SCOUT INCENTIVES

  • Every Scout that sells at least ONE item during the sale will receive the 2024 Popcorn Sale patch
  • Every Scout that achieves at least $1000 in sales, will receive a “Top Seller 2024” pin.
  • Each Scout who makes a sale ONE each: Traditional Sale, an Online Sale, and a Heroes and Helpers Sale, will automatically be entered for a drawing of $25 gift card, there will be 10 winners (5 Cubs, 5 older Scouts). Drawing will take place September 20th
  • Top Seller party in January (date TBA) for scouts that achieve $1200+ in sales
  • Be on the look out for pop-up incentives throughout the sale, like more drawings for prizes!
