Popcorn is a truly unique fundraiser. This goal-oriented program helps youth develop many life skills while supporting their own way through the Scouting program. Whether you’re new to the sale, or a caramel-seasoned pro, we look forward to supporting your sale as you Build an Adventure!

We are pleased to announce that we are continuing our partnership with Pecatonica River Popcorn for our 2023 sale. This will allow us to continue delivering high-quality product, packaging, the option for free shipping on online orders as well as many other benefits. The Pecatonica River Popcorn product line-up will be focused around collectible tins that offer value to your customers and will be filled with a product of the highest quality.

2023 Popcorn Sale Information

2023 Unit Commission Plan
Base Commission for 2023 Popcorn Sales = 32%
Pay your popcorn invoice on time (both Show and Sell and Take Order) + 0.5%
Unit offers a card payment option for your sales + 0.5%
Doing all of the above = 33%

July 25: Popcorn Kick-Off 6:30pm at SLTC (Tacos at 6pm)
August 15: Show and Sell (SNS) Orders Due on Pecatonica site
August 31 and September 1: SNS Distribution at Popcorn Warehouse: 3599 Dayton Park Drive, Dayton, OH 45414
September 2: 2023 Popcorn Sale Officially Begins
September 11: Tentative SNS Re-Order
September 18: Blitz Week 1 Drawing
September 25: Blitz Week 2 Drawing
October 2: Blitz Week 3 Drawing
October 9: Blitz Week 4 Grand Prize Drawing
October 17: Unit Take Orders Due, Show & Sell Payment Due, Keller Prize Orders Open, Winner’s Circle Orders Due, Popcorn Returns Due
November 1st, 2nd and 3rd:  Take Order Distribution at  Popcorn Warehouse

2023 Council Incentives

“Fill It Up” Blitz Weeks
Scouts that fill up a Take Order (30 orders – may include online orders and SNS orders) form may submit their name to be entered into a drawing to win a prize or gift card!

Top Sellers Party
Who: Each Scout that sells at least $1200 in popcorn sales (includes online sales) will be invited to an exclusive TOP SELLERS party at Scene 75!
What: Party includes pizza and dessert, $15 Scene 75 card for games/attractions, and extra goodies.
When: Saturday January 20, 2024 @ 11am
Where: Scene 75 located at 6169 Poe Ave, Dayton, OH 45414
