Dear Scouters and Friends,
I regret to share that Lilly Pinhas will be leaving the employment of the Miami Valley Council and will no longer be serving as the District Executive in the Two Rivers District. Her last day with our council will be April 30. In her time as District Executive, Lilly provided leadership and support to not only the Two Rivers District but also served as staff advisor to the council’s training committee and Scouting for Food efforts. She also was instrumental in our efforts to ensure virtual programming was available during our Scouting-at-Home period. We wish Lilly and her soon-to-be husband well with all their future endeavors.
I am happy to share that Amanda Schaedig will join our council on May 16 as Senior District Executive for the Two Rivers District. She comes to us from the Muskingum Valley Council in Zanesville where she served as District Executive and Senior District Executive for the past 6 years. Amanda was “born into” Scouting with both her parents being active leaders as well as her two older brothers being active Scouts. She was a Venturer as a youth, worked on summer camp staff for 7 seasons, and earned the Venturing Silver Award. She has earned her Wood Badge beads (a good ole Bear) and is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow. Amanda, her husband Patrick, and their dog Ginger are excited to start the next chapter of their lives here in the Miami Valley. Starting May 16, Amanda’s contact information will be:
Patrick Higgins, Assistant Scout Executive, will be handling all service to Scouts and volunteers in the Two Rivers District from May 1 to May 15. Patrick’s contact information is
